For a while now, I have been making up stories to put my daughter to sleep at night. While the initial stories suffered from wild and abrupt flights of fancy and ended with a 'go to sleep now' admonishment after I ran out of ideas, they have slowly and steadily acquired form, flow, structure, and even an occasional moral. They incorporate a healthy dose of silliness, which is so essential to keeping cynicism (that's grouchies for adults) at bay and appreciating and enjoying life for whatever it is. Monty Python would definitely attest to that.
This blog is a forum to introduce these stories and provide a preview. They will be available, fully illustrated, in eBook format.
The name of this blog comes from 3 things that my daughter really likes: rainbows, stars, and rainbow sprinkles.
